ASSESSMENT

A system is an interacting combination, at any level of complexity, of people, materials, tools, machines, software, facilities and procedures designed to work together for some common purpose. Due to human factors and complex organisational systems, errors and violations may be inevitable and as such may result to accidents/disasters.

At Duergo, we offer services such as:

  • Facilitation of the entire Latent Cause Analysis effort, using ergonomic investigative process (Complex systems).
  • Facilitation of various aspects of the investigative effort, including stakeholder meetings.
  • Coaching or mentoring services for your own Principal Investigators.

Why should you attend?

Carrying out effective accident investigation assessments:

  • gives a systems approach to the root cause of a particular disaster

This interactive and hands-on training receives strong positive feedback for its comprehensive and informative content, delivered in an accessible and informal way. Attendees are encouraged to share any of their own investigation experiences and raise queries and questions at any point – for example, regarding the application of techniques or processes within their own organisation.

The course has a strong focus on practical investigation techniques and the identification and resolution of common human factors/complex systems  issues. Several case studies will be provided for analysis and discussion.

Continuously updated, this course is delivered by a fully qualified  Ergonomist and experienced occupational safety professional, whose previous roles include physiotherapist to both the Lagos state teaching hospital and Ogun state general hospital.

Award-winning, easily accessible public course venues are carefully selected to provide the best possible training environments.

This training is also available in-house for individuals or groups – Please contact us for more details.
